Cancellations / No Show / Late Arrivals and Collections
I appreciate that occasionally appointments have to be cancelled due to an emergency but I do ask that you give at least 48 hrs notice whenever possible prior to your appointment so that I may offer the slot to another client. I will always try to accommodate your dog and reschedule wherever possible.
If an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, I reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the grooming charge. If appointments are missed on a regular basis, pre-payment will be required.
Please make it your priority to arrive on time for all appointments as appointment times are not flexible. While I will do my utmost to accommodate clients that arrive late, clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have to reschedule their appointment. I do appreciate clients may be late through no fault of their own, however I also have a duty to my other clients who keep to their appointment times.
This policy enables me to run an efficient salon and provide the required time needed to service all of my clients. I confirm appointments at the time of booking and 72 hours prior to your appointment date you will receive a reminder based on your chosen request.
De-matting Policy
Pawsome groomers is a kind and humane groomers and I will always abide by the
ANIMAL WELFARE ACT.
If your dog arrives with a extremely matted coat, the kindest and most humane option will be to fully clip off their coat using electric clippers with a close blade. In these circumstances, to de-matt would cause the animal stress and discomfort and therefore clipping off a coat is quicker and gentler for the dog. I will try my best to contact clients to discuss this issue before commencing with the groom.
FLEAS
If your dog comes to us with fleas or if we find them on your dog during their groom, we require a £10 fee added onto their groom cost to cover our mandatory flea bath that will be carried out and the flea treatment of the salon.
Regular grooming schedule
I recommend all clients to be on regular grooming schedules depending on their coat type and condition. I will personally asses your dog’s coat and let you know the time we advise to book between grooms.
Marketing / Photography
During the grooming process, the customer’s dog may be photographed before, during and after their groom. Photographs may be used on Pawsome Dog Grooming’s website, Facebook & Instagram pages and any other promotional or marketing material. Should the customer prefer Pawsome Dog Grooming not to photograph their dog for marketing purposes, please advise me of this.

As Pawsome Dog Grooming operates on a 1:1 grooming service, all services are offered by appointment only.
